It is a hp pavillion zv5000, 3.06 pentium 4 intel inside processor, 512 mb of ram, 60 gb hard drive, 15.4 inch widesceeen display, 3 usb ports, s-video, wireless internet, dvd burner/writer, cd burner/writer, dvd player, harmon kardon speakers with excellent sound, and has windows xp, its approximently 2 years old

I had that same notebook and sold it for $600 (upgraded to the max)
Sadly notebooks become outdated very fast, its hard to get even half of what we pay for them several months later.

It has probably gone down in value by 35-40% of what you paid for it. Yet if you are thinking of selling it, sell it for however much you think it is worth, like if you look at a similar spec. PC today and offer at least 20% of that price.

At retail, probably $1200.

At the pawn shop, probably $50.

At the flea market, probably $250.

As a paperweight, probably $10.

If you drop it in the bathtub in the next few minutes, probably nothing.

Its hard to sell a used laptop. I would estimate it could be worth about $300-500

upgrade the hard drive (you'll get more $$$) and $750? - if u dont upgrade the hard drive $625? try eBay.
