I want to find out how to fix it because my friend said somthing about analog. Idk if this is true or how to fix it and im scared that it will mess up my phone. My mom's phone wich is on the same network as mine also says this in place of where it usually says cingular on the menu page.

please help!!!!!

My phone works fine now and i have full bars most of the time

that means that where you are at there are no direct cingular towers in the area so you are working off of another companies cell tower. its nothing to worry about. you might have some delayed usage. if it happens often and you are unable to make and receive calls you should call customer service and they might be able to let you out of your contract bc of no service where you live

You have no signal because you are out of the network area. Ask Cingular/ AT&T's customer service for some help. Good luck!
