my daughter didn't start teething until she was almost a year old. (my boys teethed much earlier).
she had fever, pain, fussiness, sleeplessness, lots of drooling, swollen gums etc.
my boys started around months 5-6. and had similar symptoms.
the symptoms came and went since they would teeth one or two teeth at a time. and were on and off while the tooth cut it's way though the gums. Motrin or Tylenol was given for pain and fever, cold wash clothes (not wet, just cold i put them in the freezer to make them cool) were used to help soothe the sore swollen gums, LOTS of teething toys and cookies etc.
and lots of TLC.

I have a 3 month old. She started teething at 2 months. Most babies start around 6 months, but it really does vary. I have even heard of babies born with two front teeth!!
Slight fever, excessive drooling, fist in mouth, blankets, shirts, toys in mouth, excessive gas, difficulty eating and sleeping are all symptoms of teething. My baby today has a fever, drools like crazy, everything is in her mouth, and she has a hard time nursing. She sleeps fine and has a great attitude, though.
Symptoms will come and go every day. Teeth coming in are a process, so sometimes it hurts, other times it doesn't.
If your baby really likes it when you rub her gums, she is probably teething.
Good luck!

Babies get teeth at different times. Some at 3 months, some at one year.
Things to look for:
Excessive drooling
Baby chews on fist
Tender Gums
Little white spots (teeth) appearing on the gum line.
Crankiness that goes away when sucking on a bottle. (Soothes the gums.)
Loose stools. (from excessive saliva going thru system)
Babies don't know why they are experiencing pain so they will look to you for answers.
Any experienced mother can assist you in determining whether your baby is teething or not.

i think both of my kids started teething around 12 weeks and my eldest just finished he will be 3 in may. sometimes they would drool too much, walk about trying to bite everything in sight. my youngest sometimes get very red cheeks and nappy rash. and when the larger teeth started to pop thru at the sides they both had a high temperature however the doctor said that this was not related to teething

My daughter started teething at 9 weeks. I had no idea what was wrong with her she was crabby and nothing made her happy. She started drooling a lot and chewing on everything. By chance I had a teething ring someone gave us and I tried it and it soothed her temporarily. Hope this helps.

every baby starts teething at different times. With my son it was around five month. he would drool alot. He also would grab my fingers and gnaw on them. It was a whil before the tooth broke the skin, but when it did, he would pull in his ears and cry.
