Teething begins before a child is even born and continues until they get all 20 teeth or longer. Some children feel it more than others.

Some babies are actually born with a tooth. But usually they don't start coming through until 5 months. You're baby can start teething and the tooth might not come through for another two months. My daughter's first tooth came through at 4 1/2 months and she has twelve now at 15 months. She started drooling at about 3 1/2 months. You should be seeing that first pearly white soon!

Yes that is a good sign of teething. Buy him some of those teething toys. But make sure you put some of them in the freezer. Keep it in for about 30 min.. This will put pressure on his gums and the coldness will relieve alot of the pain. That is why he wants to chew on things, the more pressure on the gums the less pain. Also don't worry about the drooling that is very natural.

Babies are born with a full set of teeth. They are just hiding under their gums. The question is when do the teeth cut through the gums? You can find out by asking your family. My husband's side of the family were late teethers as well my side. Plus we both were late teethers. So it is no surprise that our nearly 11 month old son has only two bottom teeth!

He's teething!!
Babies typically start around 6 months. Mine started at 2, and that isn't very unusual.
Does he calm down when you rub his gums? If so, he's teething. Drool, slight fever, excessive gas, difficulty eating or sleeping, fists, blankets and shirts in mouth are all signs of teething.
My baby is 3 months old and today she has a slight fever, tons of drool, difficulty nursing, excessive gas, and both fists in her mouth.
Good luck!!!

they can start at that age. My nephew got his first 2 teeth at 4 months. My 1st son was 6 months old when he got his first teeth, whereas my daughter was almost 11 months before she got any teeth. So your son could be teething now.

Depends on the baby.
My son had his first two teeth at 4.5 months, some kids I know didn't get any teeth til they were close to a year old.
Certainly sounds like he might be teething.
Good luck.
