What is it with people who dispute global warming - they take a report and totally distort it.
READ THE ARTICLE!
If you read it you'll discover that it states the south polar ice cap is melting which is being compensated for by the growth of the north polar ice cap.
It's a seasonal variation and happens every year on Mars. Global warming on Mars has absolutely nothing to do with it.
Your question basically says 'it's spring on Mars therefore Earth isn't warming up'.
As for being silent on this piece of Inconvenient Truth - maybe that has something to do with the fact that the article you're referring to was published BEFORE An Inconvenient Truth, you only have to read the first 3 words to know that.
Get your facts straight.

WMD LIE and all your other past names. Thats why you are on new identity #547. There is a real question there behind the askers' anti Al Gore bias. Why is the Martian atmosphere warming in almost direct corrolation with the Earth's atmosphere. Could it be the recent(relative term, last 20? years or so) increased activity from the sun? You never see increased solar activity addressed when the topic of GW is discussed by the likes of Gore and like minded folks.
