yes i think so
we have been talking to DE patrick kerney so he'll be a great addition to that d-line and dont forget about courtney brown who missed all of last season, so hopefully he'll be healthy at the start of the 07 season, to talk about there offense we may need another HB to split carries with mike bell

While I do think that the broncos will have a good defense, i don't think that it will be up there with the ravens or the bears. The broncos secondary (minus champ bailey of course) is still prone to the big plays. Bly is good, but he will get burned deep every time. They might as well put Lynch at linebacker because about the only thing he is good at is stopping the run. Their D-Line is pretty good, i think that they'll be able to get a top 5 defensive end, all though this year isn't that strong for defensive ends. Overall, they'll be good and it'll probably be good enough to carry them to the playoffs.

No. This is a patch work defense that always seem to play second fiddle to Shanahan's brilliant offensive mind. Every year they trade and sign free agents to try and fix the D-line and secondary meanwhile using the draft to acquire young skilled offensive players. Even when the draft defensive players, they usually don't pan out. Shanahan is thinks he can win the Super Bowl every year. I remember just a few years ago he signed and traded for all of the Cleveland Browns D-line. This line couldn't stop the run (it's the same group that gave up almost 300 yards to Jamal Lewis) and could not generate a pass rush. They did alright for about one half of the season, but fizzled down the stretch. It will be the same this year with a 14 year veteran Dan Wilkinson, a Champ Bailey that is one year older, and Dre Bly who is not familiar with the system.

Well, last year, for a while, the broncos had the best defense statistically, not giving up a TD in three games i believe it was, but our offense needs was the problem, plummer wasn't controlling the game like he should have, and that is the reason later in the season that our d did so terrible. But also remember that Courtney brown was injured all last year. And to finally answer your question, yes the defense of the broncos, if the offense can control the game effectively, will be among the best in the NFL, and will most likely be on the top of the NFL in passing d and have a lot of turnovers.

With the best 1-2 punch at CB now, not even Reggie Wayne and Marvin Harrison can beat them. With a decent D-line we will be one of the best Ds for an entire season.

Would agree they still need that pass rushing DE, maybe 2 of them. I heard they are talking with Patrick Kearney (Atlanta). He would be a nice addition also.

they will have one of the most elite defenses in the entire league but probably not as good as the bears, ravens, or patriots.

I think that their defense will be sweet, but as long as Jay Cutler is the starting QB, they will NOT make the playoffs.
