Well, we all know what Masashi Kishimoto had in mind, It's Naruto for #6 and possibly Konohamaru for #7 (what I heard). But personally, I think Neji really has both the skill and the personality for a good leader. Not that Naruto isn't (he's working on that area, he will make it). As confirmed by Iruka from episode 56, Neji is the best student in his class (Sasuke has the best grade, Sakura has the smarts, Naruto has the abysmal).
Neji is truly talented, Polite, skillful, tactical, wise and intelligent, and he is still single?! The Hyuuga clan has really good upbringing in their children. I pretty impressed by some of the father and son interaction between Hyuuga Hiashi and Neji.
Hyuuga sama: Neji, I gave birth to you because I want you to become the head of the main house. (T__T)
*Even Neji's father is.....really handsome!

i like neji a lot and agree with everything you said about him. but i think he's a little too cool or standoff to be Hokage.
I think to be a leader, the person needs to be emotionally involved and motivating. don't get me wrong, Neji has ALL it takes to lead an army because he is an outstanding ninja. but sometimes, a leader needs to be able to show emotions and feel for its people. I don't think Neji has it in him. he's more like the keeping-it-all-to-himself type.
i think it would be a rather boring plot if naruto ends up the 6th and Konohamaru the 7th. I personally hope someone from Naruto's class would end up 7th.

In Naruto Shipuuden Neji is a joniun(srry if I spelled it wrong)
But personally he doesn't have much what it takes to be holage.Sure he's a genius but I don't know how much he's care about the people.
Gara seems to be a good hokage and he is
I still like the idea of Naruto being Hokage more than Neji.

NOOO!! BOOO!! Naruto is #6, if he doesn't die on the way. Then Neji's gonna be it. But Neji's not really a leader kind of guy, even if he's smart enough. Aas you have seen, his personality is like Sasuke's, and that kind don't lead. You need to be more impulsive as a leader. But he has a good chance for #6, and most likely for #7. But What about shikamaru? he's also a very good choice.
P.S. have you read the newest naruto manga? Naruto's Wind Rasengan is AWESOME!!

Neji's cool no doubt but Naruto is the best and definently deserves to be hokage,and what about Hinata shes a Hyuga too,(shes my fav kuniochi i really look up to her!And i think she deserves Naruto!)

I think the hokage should be Naruto or Sakura because Sakura has Tsundae sama strength.

if there's a question what would i choose beside them..
i'd pick Shikamaru and Neji..!! cuz they're intelligent and wise..

Don't think so Neji be hokage its hard work to him. So I think nartuo be best hokage and help peoples be nice to nartuo. I am not fangirl just nartuo fan belive it.

nah, not really feeliing neji as hokage. gaara deserved to be one- and he is. So does naruto and sasuke.

Yes! Neji is very strong,talented, and skilled.He becomes nicer in the end.He deserves the job because he worked very hard to get there.Neji is the best student in the class so.................................................
