You would jsut have to keep on working out i guess. Mayb try going to GNC and getting more protein so that u can lift some more but thats the only thing i can think of. Also workout as much as you can everyday if not do twice as mcuh the next day to make up for it. When you feel comfortable with 130 go to 135 etc etc etc

Just about any workout program should work, But you have to stay with it. If your max is 130 now then by summer you should be able to max way past 145 by summer. There are so many different workout programs. You need to find or develop a workout thats best for you. To get your max up, lift heavy(chest, bicips only), and make sure you work every muscle group(entire upper body). Don't work out the same muscle two days in a row, and rest at a minimum of one day. Go GNC, buy some protine and creatine. Also, read some muscle mags. It dosen't matter which one, but there your best source of education for workouts and suppliments. Good luck.

All you need to do is workout. If anything your aiming awful low. 15 pound increase by summer? That's it? You could easily gain at least 30 pounds on your bench in that time if you work hard enough. Just do bench press, incline bench press, incline and normal dumbell press, latissimus dorsi exercises, tricep workouts, shoulders and so on. If you really want to dominate, I don't care where you play position wise, you need to train your legs. Your arms can only do so much for you, in the end its the lowest man who wins the battle, and the man who keeps driving in the lines case. If your a wide receiver clean route running depends on strong legs, halfbacks are no brainers. If you have a three hundred pound bench as a halfback that's great. Except for the fact that you wont be using that besides the stiff arm. In the end, broken tackles, quick cuts, and frustrated defenders are all achieved by strong legs. If your a DB then you need to be able to recover from that double move that the wide receiver just put on you, agility from strong legs. QB, it sure is nice to have a Quarterback that can take off and run some people over if everything breaks down, I'm sure your coach would agree. So you see, the bench press can only take you so far, train your legs!

It's hard to say without knowing your workout schedule. Most people are not aware that your muscles need at least 48 hours to rest before you work them out again. That means if you bench on Monday (chest), you shouldn't work your chest out again until Wednesday. Try doing 3 sets of 12. Each time you do another set, add a little weight to the bar, even if it's just a little bit. I don't know how old you are, but creatine can help you as well. But it is a little expensive. I'd recommend trying to lift as much as you can, before going to creatine. Cell-Tech is a good brand by Muscletech. Also do exercise specifically targeting your triceps, (triceps extensions or triceps pulldowns) which will in turn help your bench improve. Eat foods rich in protein, and don't miss meals. Get plenty of rest, and discipline yourself to not miss your workouts! Good Luck!
