it is worth $35-40 dollars,if its real,not some fake.and it has no effects on the card,but its original effects are:1.its attack and defense is equal to the number of cards in ur hand *1000.ex;2 cards in hand=2000 atk,2000 def.;2.if a monster was special summoned,this monster attacks it immediately.;3.must tribute 3 monsters to summon.
but of course,slifer isnt even allowed in regular duels,as it says in the bottom.

Slifer is worth about $20. It has no effects and authentic God cards always say "This card can't be used in a Duel." on the bottom left-hand side.

Well if its fake, its not gonna be really worth much ==" and it depends on wat version it is. So the price can range from $40-$80. And its effect is its ATK and DEF points are the amount of cards in your hand times 1000.
eg. cards in hand=5 Slifer= ATK=5000 DEF=5000

It depends on if it's a fake or not.
Upper Deck released a collector's version of it and Obelisk (Maybe Ra too, not sure), but they are not tournament legal and they have no effects. They're just collector's items.

To me, it's value is $0.00, and it's only effect is to make me shake my head in amazement at the money people waste on this garbage.
