i think because she looks good, she got the lead in a few c-list roles and because she looks good and has a notorious personal life, she gets media attention. however, i think she is one of the WORST actresses in hollywood. i love her music, very catchy, but her movies aren't so good.

She's not so notorious, and her personal life isn't all over the news. I don't know what you're saying, because it's been so long since I've heard of her doing something. I actually read an interview of her, that she said she didn't enjoy having her life in magazines all the time and it felt great to be out of it for awhile. This is actually a good question though, as I just finished watching Monster-In-Law, starring Jennifer Lopez. I actually thought it was okay, not the best, but okay. It got a two out of four star rating, which isn't too bad, and the movie itself was slightly entertaining. As I said, Jennifer Lopez isn't the worst actress, and her music is indeed very good, and I like her!

She has that Kevin Costner thing going for her. Both had the one really good role, and every performance after that, the company is trying to get that again.
Only thing that is golden is J-lo in a movie with Ben Affleck. Wow does that make for a bad movie. And everyone knew it! Everyone except J-lo and Ben Affleck.
Gweneth Paltrow is far worse and actress then J-lo. None of the talent with none of the good looks.

She is an amzing actress!!! She always plays good roles. Her best are Maid In Manhattan,Selena,and Enough.

I don't think she is a horrible actress. She is actually pretty good. But I rather see her singing and/or dancing. That is what she is made for.

I don't see her as a bad actress, she's good in what she does, but can't say she's wonderful since she's never been in any good film that showed up her talent.

i think she has alright acting skills shes not the best actor i have seen but you have to look at this every movie she plays in she is a young teenager and that fits her self potairt.
