I look in the last place in the first place and work my way down to the first place which is actually the last place I look so if I had looked in the first place in the first place I would have found it

The reason for this is because you didn't think to look in that place first. If you would havebeen smart enough to look there first you would have found it the first place you looked. You are bass ackwards like me.
