It depends on what size you want and if it's on sale or not. If you are patient you can wait for it to go on sale and pick up a 12x12 for $5
You can look at their sales circular at their website http://www.michaels.com They start a new sale each week.

Haha sorry, but I had to laugh when I saw this, because my wife LOVES scrapbooking! In my experience, the more involved and elaborate you want to get, the more expensive the hobby gets. However, you can buy the binder intelf from 15-20 dollars, protective plastic sheets (for 3-ring binders), at walmart from 8-10 dollars, stickers, glue, scissors, and paper at wal mart as well. Only buy the necessities like a pretty binder or specialty stickers at a store like Michaels. You can find perfect scrapbook items in the craft sections of wal mart, walgreens, and stores like that. It's a good way to save money on something you love. By the time everything's said and done, my wife's spent hundreds of dollars per scrapbook (even with the walmart tricks), but it's SO worth it. She's so creative, and they'll last forever. Good luck!

You might find a small one or one on sale for around $10. Prices depend on the quality, including the cover, and if it is a kit with pages, embellishments, etc. They can be $20 up. Michaels frequently has sales on scrapbook items. If it is not on sale, you can use a coupon from your newspaper or from their email. Most of the time you can get 40% off coupons.
