What the Tribal Cherokee Nation Did With The Vote???
Cherokees, along with Choctaws, Chickasaws, Creeks and Seminoles, were long known as the "Five Civilized Tribes" because they adopted many of the ways of their white neighbors in the South, including the holding of black slaves.

If the black descendants (freedmen) have Cherokee blood to the extent that any other person who would be a full member of the tribe (1/8 or whatever), they should be allowed.

Hey guess what. Mexico abolished slavery as soon as it earned its independence from spain. The first man to salute the tricolor flag was of mixed African, Indian, and European ancestry. That was Vincente Guerrero. That represents America whether anyone likes it or not.
