Is there any limit/tax implications on transferring money from the US to the UK?

I am moving back to the UK and have saved some money while living in the US and wanted to know whether there is any limit to how much money I can move at any one time or if there are any tax implications.

There is a ceiling of $10,000 at which point the transaction becomes reportable to the Federal government, but I don't think there are restrictions, per se.
