What countries make up latin america? if you're from S.A does that make you latin?

just wondering..i know its the psychology section..but this is where everyone is lol.

Latin America = South and Middle America.

I'm not sure if I'd call a person from there "Latin", since that sounds like they're an ancient Roman, but I think you could definitely call them "Latino" (which is basically the same, just in another language, lol).
