Okay, I have to do a PowerPoint and a TimeLine for my social studies. I already have all my events in chronocological narrative, but I have NO CLUE how to make a timeline. I don't know if you can make a TimeLine on Microsoft. It has to be printed off or saved to a disk and I CANNOT DOWNLOAD ANYTHING OR BUY ANYTHING. Please help!

Do it in Excel if you have it, or any other spreadsheet program.
You can do a line across one row of cells, and in the cells above or below list your years and events. You can go to "format cells" and turn your text sideways or at an angle, if you want.

If it needs to be on the power point presentation, you can copy and paste it in.

When I made a timeline I used microsoft publisher. I used a blank page. I wanted to look like a landscape. So I wen t to file page setup. Printer paper, size legal. Orientation landscape. The This on is mine but you can use more then twelve boxs and a diffrent design

Bring up PowerPoint and create a new presentation. Use the word "timeline". It will give you a series of examples.

If you don't know how to create one on microsoft word, it will probably take you too long. Just create one with a pen and a piece of paper. Then scan it on your computer.

Just decide if you want the timeline vertical or horizontal.

Well...........I know how to by hand. You make a line...........(w/ arrows at the end) and puts dates on it. Ex. 30 A.D--Jesus died. So, I hope this helps!!!!!!!!!!!!
