I'm guessing you need a part so for the price my as will go to pick and pull and save your self lots of time look for good car that has been in wreck so you know the tyranny is good have a good day.

Sounds like a sticking valve in the valve body. Good news: replacement does not require transmission removal. Bad news: it will cost you at least $300.

you could have your transmission filter changed that can solve shifting problems if it is getting plugged

the plug in the torque converter housing is disconnected. or loose.
do not use the overdrive ,untill You fix the car.

when coming to a stop,it should change back into low.did you check the oil?it could be low.
