Sims 2 download help PLZ!!!?

when i try to download it it stops at like 30% or somthing is it because i dont have anough mega bytes (watever its called) because i should because i have a a 2004 dell flat screen computer and a brand new laptop and it doenst download.... Thx soooo much if u can help! :)

The Sims 2 would be too big for the laptop. You would need to get Life Stories
