He's pretty beat up over the whole thing. Still, Wally feels that a man just has to take life's Lumpy's on the chin. It's such a haskell to challenge a will. Gee, Wally prefers to just go on with his life; he'd ruther ford that stream when it comes. It's just not a black and whitey issue.

Legally children can fight a will where they are left nothing -- if June and Ward are not feeling the love for Wally they should leave him something so that he can't contest the will on the basis it is inequitable distribution. I believe Tori Spelling could write a book on this.
As far a how Wally feels -- like most TV characters he feels however the writers tell him to feel.

Wally has played "Give it to Beaver" once too often to retain legal grounds.

They have had an episodic relationship over the years. This has been happening on a weekly basis. It is because of a series of events. The Cleavers need to find a way to channel their energies. They need to show trust, or their relationship will be cancelled. This needs to be done quietly and without an audience. They need to move on with their lives and not look back with nostalgia.
