the key fob can be checked for dead batteries or signal output. if the battery is good and the signal is strong, then it could have simply lost programming. if it is a factory installed alarm, the dealerships can reprogram it easily and check if it is operational. sometimes it's not the key fob at all, and the receiver in the car is bad. we had this problem on land rover lr3s often, water ingress caused corrosion on a wire causing the remote to be inoperable.

Replace the battery in your controller. You may have to get a mechanic to reprogram it if your owner's manual doesn't tell you how to do it yourself. Check your owner's manual to see if it tells you how.

usually a small Phillips head screw motive force will artwork to get rid of the conceal. as quickly as you get the battery out, take it to the battery section at your community shop and tournament the battery to the the suited option one there.
