Ok, I know you couldn't pssible actually know! But I was hoping that someone who has been in this position could tell me the daft places you have found them!
I have looked in her toy box and underneath everything and down the side of the sofa.
All suggestions gratefully received!

Down a heater vent on the floor?? Or in a book case that may have doors that the baby can open. My son is always hiding things on me I know the frustration of having to look EVERYWHERE for something. Try in their bed as well or IN the couch. Good Luck and I hope you don't have to be anywhere for a while LOL.

A baby of my friends put both keys of their car down the loo and flushed it, so if yours has done likewise looks like an expensive visit on foot to car manufacturers Rep to order a new set of keys before you can ever use your car again. But may be the exercise will do your health good, so be grateful to the baby.

lol - I have been there so many times - try under the sofa, in a shoe, in the cupboard in the kitchen or down the toilet!! and don't forget the bin - I eventually got my daughter her own set of keys that are of no use to me and put some key rings on there surprise surprise she has not lost them once but at least she leaves mine alone

In her bed? Where was she when she had them last? Where is the next place she was (after she was playing with the keys)? Does she walk? Did you check the cabinets she can reach? Where do you usually keep the keys.. maybe she was trying to be helpful and tried to put them away..

they turned out to be laid at the bottom of the pram under the car seat.

cant blame the baby though he was only a few weeks old.... therfore i blame the hormones

Hi there. Nearly always in the playpen or toybox, occasionally the pet bed, or else down cushions/under furniture.
The other possibility is around the tv somewhere, as this is where they get most distracted.
Cheers, Steve.

Press it's nose and see if the car unlocks, (only kidding) but if someone in the family has a metal detector it might be handy, check the baby doesn't cause the detector to beep, then check the sofa/nappy/cot etc.

Does she like "posting "things into any available slot. Mine used to stuff things in the video player(bit out of date now). I also had a gas fire in the fireplace with a vent at the top - everything went in there!

If she can walk try the letter box on the door !!!
Or inside shoes, in a plant, in the bin, inside the video or dvd player.

Good luck in finding them.. Happy hunting !!

I would try anything with an opening just big enough for your keys to get into. My daughter liked to hide my keys in place like that. Like shoes, small containers...
