The site you gave example of works in my browser. If you can visit other websites (answers.yahoo.com) with your FLOCK browser, then it is possible that your FLOCK browser doesn't have a plugin installed to use the site that you're crashing with. After you installed your windows upgrade, did you go and install macromedia flash, quicktime and all those media type readers? You might want to stop by sun.com and pickup the latest sun java support too.

Can you visit the site Rambler.ru in a different browser?

FLOCK? not familiar with it

Similar problems occurr with Firefox and IE though. I recommend deleting all history, all forms except passwords, delete cookies, set sucurity to medium, set privacy to medium, disable content advisor, clear SSL state, go to 'programs' - > manage addons and delete any unsigned programs there.

You also ight want to run a spyware program and anti-virus to see what may be causing the problem. Webroot has a really nice full featured trial that will work for a single instance without having to buy it if you run it only 1 time. Maybe you should also use a registry cleaner. This sounds like spyware activity to me, or even malware if it keeps resetting your homepage. Get a router to protect you. They work as a hardware firewall. You won't get these prblems after intalling a router that is properly configured. Good luck!

Time to take the plunge and upgrade that computer. You don't have a whole lot of memory. Sounds like your computer is ruinning lots of programs in the background and slowing you down. You need atleast 1 Gig of memory. And try for the new dual core processors. They are fast!

Sounds like you have adware, or a trojan redirect on your hard drive. Run a good antivirus program and see if that helps. If not, turn your pop up bolocker off and try rebooting.

Does this happen with only one page or every page? I would assume it's not every page because you're able to visit us here.
