The neighbors upstairs are training acrobats I think because it's nothing but running and stomping ALL DAY LONG, I can hear the kids screamimg and the mom yelling at them. I think we're going crazy. On our days off we sleep in and the noise starts up again. We've called the landlord bout it before when they first moved in and they were quiet for a day. We talked to the neighbors and the kids came down and appologized andwere good for the night. But right now I don't want to be nice. I would shoot thru the ceiling if I had access to a gun right now. If you can't tell they seem to be working on the last nerve that's reserved just for them. I've had it with the noise and calling the cops again will only get me dirty looks in the parking lot.I need to know what is the best way to get them evicted.

I am a nice person and I have 2 boys that are QUIET b/c I've taught them that there are other people in the building. I just want the noise to stop and talking isn't doing ANY good b/c the mom is either on drugs or is just stupid and falls asleep all the time

Call the landlord every single day you hear ANYTHING; yes, every day. Continue to call the cops - screw the looks. We are all entitled to peace and quiet in our homes.
And yes, it's worked. That's why I own my house now - no more shared walls/floors for me. :-)

You could try giving a dose of their own medicine. Make lots of noise when their kids are sleeping. Or, when all is nice and quiet, have some really loud, headboard banging sex. Or, you could always take up a musical instrument, - drums, trumpet, etc.

If you make them move there will just be more maybe worse neighbors to deal with. Good luck.

This may be difficult to do but it does work...you have to visualize them getting a better apartment or a job transfer..hope that something positive happens that causes them to relocate..it ain't easy to wish good for butt heads..I gaurantee that it will work though...

I can feel your pain--I was just lucky this weekend and they moved I am still loving the silence...sorry give it time.
