My beautiful wife of ten years started an affair at her work. She wanted out of the marriage and I told her that I would have done anything in the world to keep her in my life. I went and purchased a book on kids dealing with divorce. I read the book and one evening I sat the family down. I had to explain that mom and dad didn't have feelings for each other anymore-even though I was still madly in love with her. We all cried even my ex and my sons kicked and screamed. It will be a day that I will think about for the rest of my life.

Ouch...I just told my husband of 11 years that I want a divorce. Then I had to tell my 2 kids the same thing. Telling my children was the hardest thing I've ever had to do.

The hardest thing that I have ever had to tell my husband was that yes he could come home (just spent a holiday weekend at the crack house) andthat his belongings were packed and in his SUV and I have some checks that need to be signed BEFORE he leaves once he gets here.

Telling my first husband I was divorcing him was the second hardest. Telling our children we were getting divorced was the hardest. But I don't regret it. The fact that something is hard doesn't make it wrong.

The first time it was telling my parents I was pregnant (and not married or even with the father). The second was telling them them I was getting a divorce again, and then again (and the reason for the current one).
