Heck no, Faerie White. I buy it already shucked, except for the ones I put in seafood gumbo. I just suck the meat out with the gravy.

Yummm. Think I'll have gumbo tonight!!

Well, sort of. I really don't like crab enough to make it worth it to me. If I liked it more it would be worth the effort.
