So as she says, you have to go to rehab if you use the f- word. She clearly understands and chooses to say it anyway. Fine, I respect that, but what was the joke? Did she mean to imply John Edwards sleeps with men? There has to be more to the joke than playground name calling... Please help me understand. I want to laugh too, but I've watched the clips over and over and I just don't get it!

I'm all for free speech and I will defend her right to say what she will. I thought this was a misunderstood joke and I want to understand so I can laugh too! My comment about name calling wasn't to dimish her statement, but to ask if there was more to the joke. I'm hoping there was more because if not... I don't get to laugh and I'm truly waiting for the joke.

She was saying Edwards is wimpy or girlish. There is nothing to get--Coulter has figured out she can sell more of her books by being controversial, so she is. It is all about money.

First you have to take what she is saying in context.
Second get a sense of humor and understand terms like scarsm.
Third if you don't like name calling than why single out Ann she is no different than Al Franken calling Rush a "Big fat liar"...
I just don't get it when a conservative uses name calling it is an issue.
Liberals do it all the time under the banner of Free Speech.
Refering to Rice as a house slave.
Powell an Uncle Tom.
Kerry our troops are dumb.
My best advice if you don't like Ann or don't understand her humor don't watch.
Kind of simple that way don't you think.
Free Speech is for everyone not just liberals.

What I don't get is why anyone pays attention to her. Who the hell is she anyway? It's certainly the whole reason why she says such outrageous, stupid things - no substance, all BS. If we all stopped watching and listening, she'd go back to the rock from under which she emerged.
