As far as blushers go I'd use a plum based color, and remember to go light on blush. you don't want it to look like you've got racing stripes on your face. Just feel for your cheekbone and follow that up to your temple with your brush.
For eye shadows use blues, greens, golds, vanillas, and cranberries. It seems like you have a earth tone complexion, so that should carry over into your makeup. Don't use too much of the green, blue, or cran, cause natural is really in right now, but definately use those as the color accents. I'd use a brown on the lower lid, on the actual ball of the eye, brush on some gold in the center of the lower lid, and blend in just to give it some dimension. Use a lighter color like a pink under your brow bone just to add a bit of hilight. Throw in other colors as you see fit. like you can feather some green out from the contour line of your lid!
As far as self tanners go, I'd just stick with a basic bronzer. But don't use it too much. It's just barely beginning to be spring, so lighter complexions are going to look more natural. If you do invest in bronzer, remember, it's just on your nose and cheekbones. you're not trying to give yourself darker skin, just a sun-kissed look... not a sun-ate-you-up-and-spit-you-back-out look! ;-p
Remember to experiment! The only way to learn makeup is to play and play and play, so PLAY AWAY!

Brighter eyeshadows would work great with your eyes and skin tone. For example yellow or white.
I think i nice pinky or orange colour would be great for a blusher.
For tanners i would recommend Johnson's Holiday Skin. It gradually builds and doesn't have an orange or streaky effect. But if you already have olive tan skin i don't think you really need to use it.
