There are tons of unrepresented holidays here, they should divide them by religion, or culture, not put in a bunch of jesusian holidays, and one or two others to make the rest of us feel we might be represented.... they could make lots of room by putting one in for "hallmark holidays that Christians don't know the real roots of" instead of easter, christmas, holloween, and most other christian holidays, and then the holidays with ancient roots can each get their own section, minimum of 2500 years old or more..

Why not? More holidays to celebrate plus adds to the diversity of the people here and will make us learn more about the Persian traditions. So what do you guys do on Nourooz? I know gold fish is displayed...something to do with good fortune. What else?
Oh and by the way to the first answere, Halloween used to be a Christian holiday. Today its increasingly pagan/secular.Reminiscent of pre-christian pagan Europe.
