When I defragment I usually see 67% of free space - now it is at 47% - that's just in a month's time.

She's downloading music, copying it to her Ipod, and leaving the original file on the computer.

Simply tell her that she needs to delete the music after she's transfered it, and that if she doesn't do it herself, you'll have no choice but to go into her files and delete it randomly for her. Tell her she can have so many gigs of space for the ones she really wants to back up.

Another option is to ask her if she's willing to shell out 10$ to get some CDs to back them up onto or have her pay for a hard drive upgrade, for 100$ she can get a 250 gig hard drive and never have to worry about eating your space :D

Just buy her a small external harddrive to put the songs on.
