The last two need middle names please.

Katara is the name of my great grandmother so I really want to use it.

I'm not really fond of Jr's so I'm trying to come up with some other options that display the baby's whole heritage.

The baby is gonna be part Scottish, Irish, Korean, Afican-American and Native-American.

Katara is Korean it means "waterfall."

I like katara renae and demetrius. Demetrius is really cool, and unique. But think about how they'll end up getting shortened for easy use! Don't go overboard. Some people here come up with these really off the wall fancy big names that just sound dumb to my ears!

I like Katara. How about Katara Rose? I think having three names is putting a lot on a kid. My mother who is 84 had three names Valley Christine Elizabeth. She hated it. She eventually dropped the Valley name and just uses the other two.
As for the boy names I don't care for them much but hey it's not my kid. But I would suggest that you use simple names for middle names when you have so many syllables in the first name.
For something different. My youngest goes by her middle name. It is a custom they used to have in the south. Both my parents used their middle names as their first names.
Also I would suggest you consider the last name when giving a name. My oldest had a somewhat long first and last name but they went well together. She learned to spell them easily enough.
Just remember this baby will have this name for the rest of it's life. Be sure and see if the name has a meaning also. That might make a difference to you.
Katara Rain is okay too. Naming my children was one of the most pleasurable things I've gotten to do in life. You are writing their history. And also remember that it comes down to it, you and the baby's father's opinions are what counts. Listen to your heart and do what the two of you decide. This is your choice not anyone else's.

Firstly, Katara sounds like 'catarrh' - you know a discharge or mucus blockage caused by the swelling of the mucous membranes. Do you really want to do that to your kid???? The middle names (save for the last one) are trashy but hey, you want to earmark your kids from birth? Go ahead.

Boy:

I assume Darrion Darrell is his father's name? If not, well, that's kind of pathetic. As far as the others, Demetrius is okay. At least it's a real name unlike Jeramias which sounds like you've added the word 'a s s' to the name Jeremiah.

I like Katara Rain and Katara Rose, but I like them better spelled Kitara Rayne or Kitara Rose. For a boy, rather than name him Darrion Jr. (I assume the dad's name is Darrion) why not give him his own first name and Darrion as his middle name? Demetrius Darrion could work, although both Demetrius and Jeramias are pretty long names that may be a little tough on him in school (you know how kids are). If you choose Jeramias Darrion, I'd call him J.D. for short!

I'm with you on the JR I don't go for that either.....Demetrius is a cool name ...so is Darrion......as for a middle name how about Demetrius James? Demetrius Ethan? middle names are always tough to think of

Katara Amira Rose is gorgeous. Dememtrius sounds a little wierd but its still nice.
