You need to stop worrying about what other people think. What's most important to you? a good life or your clothes? When you die, people aren't going to remember you for your clothes or your possessions, but what kind of person you are. So I think you should spend your money on something more important to you.but you know.. victoria's secret bra's are my favorite! haha.. It's the only place I can buy bra's at.

As a shopaholic, I can totally relate to how you are feeling. Here is my best advice- do not deny your inner diva!!!!! Instead, give yourself a limit and stick to it. Here's what I do- I get paid every two weeks, and I figure out my budget for what bills need to be paid and for my food and gas money. Let's say I have $100 left over after that. Then I decide that $50 gets saved (ALWAYS have some savings) and the other $50 is for me to get something for myself. This way I am getting to shop on a regular basis but I'm still being responsible. It's always important to treat yourself, but you can do that if you are deeply in debt. Good luck!

Recognize that there is a great difference between want and need. Things you want are fine if you can afford them. Things you need are more important. You need: A roof over your head, Electricity and/or Gas, and a telephone for emergencies.
One a month is plenty of shopping time. Every week-end is exessive. Use your free week-ends for camping or hiking with friends, going out with a date or friends, site-seeing, touring museums, reading a new best-seller, etc. One may only wear one bra at a time!!! It's okay to be a diva, once you have arrived!

Every time you go out to buy something now, stop and think "Do I really need this?" I know how you feel - I'm a big spender as well. But I'm learning to control my habit by asking myself this. When I stop and think before I buy, I usually wind up remembering I already have something just like it at home, or that I saw something similiar for a cheaper price somewhere else.

OK. this doesn't really seem too normal to me, so you may need to see a counselor/ psychologist, only because your sh-oping and over spending issues may be rooted to deeper anxiety issues. going to ask someone for help about it, or maybe why this is happening to you ( maybe due to loss of someone or a horrible relationship) and how to stop is fine. try doing that.

It sounds like you are going through a phase. Determine your needs from your wants.
