Loretta Swit played the role very well. Even back in her day, she was kinda' rough on the eyes though..

Loretta Switt wasn't a great beauty, but she'd do in war time. (Eh, Frank?) Nice hips and a meaty butt. Hotlips was a great character, on a great show. Too bad they don't make shows like that anymore.
