I hate gold but I've sticked to wearing gold earrings since I pierced (sept. 2006). but i wish i could wear earrings that are funkier like stuff from Claire's or smthng like that coz it's funky and cheap.
I have very sensitive skin and i was wondering how i could find out whcih metal i'm allergic to without risking anything like getting an infection.
Do you know any solutions? I hate gold!!!!!!

You can still buy earrings at Claires, get the ones that say Nickel Free-my daughter has to wear those and many or even most of them are nickel free. You could also try white gold. Most are allergic to the nickel in earrings.

Claire's doesn't sell sterling silver earrings! The metal you put in your ear is a cheap piece of led! That's what you might be allergic to. So get real steling silver. Led could poison you. and be sure to clean the earrings before you wear them everyday.

Why dont you try PLATINUM or you can also try silver ,even 9k gold will look very different and these metals are non allergic

Just try and if they start to bother you take them out, you wont get a infection that fast.......
