He has not had sex; in fact, he's not into girls yet. He's a late bloomer. But I think this is the beginning of sperm?? I have no clue since I'm not a guy! He doesn't have any symptons either. No pain, no fatigue, nothing. It's just scaring him (and me too!). Please help!

It isn't normal for something of that color. Typically, semen is either thick & white or thin & semi-clear.
I would suspect it may be blood, or dried blood.
Since it was "squirting"; I would suspect he was ejaculating.
Ejaculating IS a typical male response during puberty.
Be casual, as you do not want to shame him or invade his privacy.
Simply ask if this brown stuff has come out more than once, & is it continuing to come out each time?
If he indicates it is a repeated occurance, take him to the family Doctor.
If it was a one time deal, then he may have injured himself trying to masturbate his first time, & he will likely recover without any big to do.
He needs you to be calm & non-invasive when questioning him, as male sexuality is very private thing to discuss with a female, let alone a Mom.
I applaud you seeking help from guys. You're doing fine.

Semen is milky to clear in color, I don't remember puberty (it was that long ago) so I don't know if the first few times were different in color or not.

Brownish or red I afraid could mean blood and why he has blood in his semen I wouldn't know. I know at times a man's semen can change color and be a little bit dirty in color.

He says it was squirting out, did he masturbate because that is the only way (beside urinating) that anything comes squirting out of a penis. If he was masturbating perhaps it scared him and in order to cover up the fact that he was masturbating he told you this brownish red stuff came squirting out.

If he isn't having any pain and his urine is fine and he is not discharging brownish red fluid he is probably ok.

Taking him to the doctors about this could be very embarrassing for him however he may need to go if he is being honest with you.

I would at least call his doctor and see what they may say.

I don't want to worry you, but I really think you should take your son to a doctor as soon as possible. He may be suffering from a urologic disease.

If you are so concerned about this then go see a doctor. He or she will explain everything.
