To be a TA for P.E you have to be recommended, and so i was by my P.E teacher. So i picked that as one of my choices for my electives next year. I am mostly good at most sports and i am good at clerical service and repairing stuff. Those are the stuff that a TA needs to have.
And i filled my application and the part where it says why you want to be one. My folder was open so some of my friends at my table got to see, they after a few moments they started reciting what i wrote sarcastically and making fun of me.
Should i still pursue picking a TA??
I get really good grades too.

i did get recommended and my teacher asked if i would do it and consider, but now i have second thoughts, but thnks to you guys, i don't feel like a piece of junk that much anymore. Thanks!

yes, don't let them pressure you into not doing it.....they are just jealous of you because you like something they can't/won't do...

Considering that you have to be recommended, I think it would be a great thing to do. It sounds like you are a great student and a person who is going places in this world. I hope that you don't let those friends of yours weigh you down.

You can't let others and their opinions dictate what you like in your life. Don't miss out on wonderful opportunities because of peers. Have fun, and you should be proud of yourself being picked for an assistant.

Yeah definitely! Don't let your friends tell you what to do! If they make fun of you, then maybe they're not really your friends. If you want to do it, then go for it!...you'll get good experience, learn a lot, and it will be fun! Enjoy :)

no way!!! be a office TA u can walk around campus and collect attendence and run errands! easy A ,no teacher really, not hard, no stress kinda just walkin around!!! do that its way better!

Absolutely go for it. It is a very good opportunity for you. Don't let your friends change your mind. They may be reacting out of jealousy. You should go for it.

If that is what you want to do then go for it. But they dont pay very well
