Honey, I am 24 and have bought all 7 vehicles that I have owned by myself since I was 17. The first 6 were clunkers. The new one I have taken a loan out for but my name is the only one on the loan.

I had a very crappy job when I first started out and my parents gave me back all the money that I paid them for room and board and told me to buy myself a car, so I did and it was not a bad car, it was a clunker but it got me back and forth to work. =)

My mother bought mine when I turned sixteen. She paid a whopping $250 for it, and I called it the Death Car. When I wrecked it eight days later - I think it just fell apart as I was driving - I went on to buy my own.

I bought my own. A 64 Chevy Impala Convertible silver in color with red interior. That was in 1976, way before they became gangsta cars. I paid 1000.00 dollars for it.

I bought my first car. It cost me $150. it was a 1980 Chevy Citation. It didn't have power steering, didn't lock and had plywood for a floor. But it was all mine!!
My friends and I called her Poopsie!
