Isn't it ironic how a large contingent of homophobics declared a male group calling themselves "Queen", with a very flamboyantly gay lead singer-the great Freddie Mercury- their favorite rock band?
I think when it comes to irrepressible genius and talent beyond words, sexual orientation ceases to be a factor. Other examples--Sir Elton John, Rock Hudson and on the female side, right now I can only think of Ellen DeGeneres (brilliant comedienne), though I am sure there are many other talented lesbians.
By the way, I am a sworn heterosexual--just so no one thinks I'm a gay/lesbian activist simply promoting that lifestyle.

Absolutely not. The only person who's sexuality is of any concern to me is my husbands. If I'm not sleeping with them, I don't care one bit.
Freddie Mercury was a musical genius, and he died WAY before his time. I like to think he's up in heaven singing lullabies to my angel son.

Not really. You kinda knew he was gay in the first place. Well I did anyway. But he was one of the greatest singers that ever lived.

He swung both ways. He did have a woman at one point, and left most of his money to her.
