The easiest way is to Go to:
My Computer -> right-click the drive -> properties-> Tools-> Check for Errors.
Other wise you can run chkdsk from the command prompt
Start menu -> Run -> enter cmd and then enter chkdsk (drive letter) /r in the command console.
