i am doin a biology experiment so i wanted to know the factors that effect the rate of eye blinking. I thought of light intensity. Can anyone plz tell wheter a peron blinks more in dark or in bright light and WHY?

No, we do not blink due to lighting, we blink to lubricate the eye and to get rid of foreign material

If you take someone from a dark environment and stick them in a brightly lit one, they might blink more until they become adjusted simply because the intensity of the light hurts but just being in a light room will not make you blink more than being in a dark room, or vise versa.

yes inc. in intensity of light increase rate of blinking of eyes
