I'm not sure what the condition is called, but it's completely normal. You're seeing the wall move away from you because you've been watching the notes scroll towards you on the game for a long time. When you focus for a while on continuous movement or a particular color, your brain gets used to it. When the image is removed (by looking away or even just closing your eyes) there's a "rebound" effect where your brain starts generating the reverse of what you were just looking at.

If you want to mess with your eyes even more (and learn a little while you're at it!), go here...

Oh yeah...........I get it too. It's like a mini-LSD trip as all the patterns on my sofa and the curtains all move around.

I get a similar thing when I finish running on a treadmill when I go down the gym. When you get off, it feels like you're still moving forward.

God knows what either of these effects are called - but I'd be interested to know.

I would assume that the body gets used to continual motion and, when you stop, is still expecting it. So I suppose your eyes and brain are expecting to continue to see information coming towards you as it does with GHII.
