I tried to download E7 three times and finally gave up. I don't think it's worth making the switch. I did a system restore to get back to E6 and with stay with that until I dump my PC for an iMac.

Best bet is to uninstall the old IE before installing IE7. Microsoft.com has a step by step on doing this. Also, if you have a registry cleaner software, run it after uninstalling old IE and before installing IE7.
