Of course it's suitable for you to give a speech on women's rights.

Here is some information:
- http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Women's_rights

Get a few notecards and write down the information you find the most important. Then when you give your speech, you can talk about what you researched and give some facts to back it up.

Make sure you write about some statistics (percentages, charts, etc) because it gives a better source of information plus adds interest.

Good luck!

Yes, you're entitled to your opinion. What is is? If I disagree, why should I change my mind? What is your definition of "Women's rights?" Personally, I feel equality is more important than one gender's rights , or the other's. Women have all the say on abortion, but it takes two to make a baby, and DNA tests show that the embryo is not the woman, so shouldn't both parents have a say if their child's life hangs in the balance?

If you prepare a good, pro-women's-rights speech, I think an excellent way to begin it is with an appropriate variation of T_dome's little joke.
