I live in West Texas, and I'm considering going in for a spray tan. How does it work, how much does it cost, etc.?

I've only done *Mystic Tan...
You get in the booth after applying a barrier lotion to your fingernails and toenails... Hold your breath and wait.. the booth sprays you for 30 seconds you turn and it sprays your for another 30 seconds.
I cant remember how much it cost i think it was $15-20..
My tan was OK... but i have to warn you.. my husband went the day b4 or wedding and i guess they hadnt checked to see how much bronzer was left and it came out in spurts, he was all splotchy and striped.
Good luck.

I paid $30 to get spray tanned completely for a party I was going to. This was on Long Island. I had it done at a salon. I think you should check out local salons to see if they offer this service. Good luck!

It is an Airbrush machine. You definitely want a person doing it, not an automated booth. Around here it costs $25-$40 for a good tan. I love it because you look good and it is safe for your skin!

before doing it ,a day before apply a scrub to the whole body espacially knees, elbows ...be sure to scrub very well!

use an oil free scrub!
dont use any products that are oily before doing it,cause the spray will not have a good affect on your skin!
another thing the longer you can wait to have a shower after you have done it ,the better will be.

i used "fantasy tan"
