Why can't the ______________ political party just accept my views and agree with me? Don't they know that whomever thinks differently than I, is most certainly evil?

Why do they all make huge lumping assumptions about me and my peers? And they ALL do it!

How can people NOT hate ____________ when I disagree with that person so much!?!

Don't people know that _______________ views on _________ topic are all lies!?!?? Why can't they see the obvious lies!?!??

Why are all __________ hateful bigoted liars that are bad people?

Insert nouns into the blanks and you have alot of deeply opinionated statements disguised as questions. I don't think I need to tell YOU how rampant they are. There's a VERY distinct difference between honestly asking people to make comparisons and preaching. To avoid being any more of a hypocrite, here's my question:

How can we (the sane) properly deal with these statements disguised as questions?

I might agree with you, can you please back your statement up with some sort of reason? Did I err somewhere?

brad, ignoring them does not halt their influence. It's possible that there is nothing we can do on the global stage but only on the individual level, as you've suggested.

All great answers guys. Thanks! That's demonstrating implementation of being a "ballast" of reason! (to quote one of the answers below.)

Excellently put. You must be a Communist. Just kidding.
I think the only thing people can do (who appreciate nuance and honest discourse), is to continue to be the ballast of reason. Eventually the ship we're on will level out until the next perfect storm of political hyperbole starts blowing. There are always going to be people who employ these inflammatory rhetorical techniques to throw others "off their game." If one can successfully confuse and obfuscate, then one can more easily push an agenda which includes making one's opponent insecure about their own beliefs. If you are solid about a particular attitude that involves an honest discourse (I am purposely avoiding the word belief), then you are doing more than most.

some think of that the persons will quickly lose interest of being dealt with like a ping-pong ball between the two events and reject them. it rather is a interest-we help one then get disgusted with it. We flinch then bypass to the different for revenge yet they are basically as undesirable in opposing approaches. So we lose interest of them and are meant to bypass back to the unique one back because of the fact we are meant to be so GD stupid that we've performed forgotten the screwing they gave us years in the past. perhaps we've wised up.

I agree with Brad, we should ignore them. But it's so HARD!

I think the worse ones should be reported.
As for the better ones, I like to give such an answer as to make the asker feel as stupid as possible. One of my "stock" answers for such people is "If you're not part of the solution, you're part of the problem. YOU are part of the problem. Congratulations." I don't like to waste too much time reasoning with them. Those kinds of people aren't CAPABLE of reason.

Thanks for this question, and for being a part of the solution!

As individuals, we could:

question the validity of everything we read or hear
research the facts
avoid generalizing
educate ourselves about beliefs other than our own
critically think and make informed decisions for ourselves

You could insert liberals and Democrats. Just look at how they treated a soldier who supported the President at their war rally a few weeks ago.
