The Holy Grail. Most likely, the physical cup that Jesus drank from.

Nothing. As originally envisioned, the "It's" man would always be cut off just as he was about to introduce the show, as in "It's Monty Pythons Flying Circus"

The joke being that he never got to say the whole line, hence he was the "It's" man.

During the run of the first season, with it being established that he couldn't say anything else, they had him running around and doing other things.
