My brother has recently created his own website offering Financial Advice and information on the Financial Market, stocks, shares and equities to those specific people who are wishing to/ are interested in making an investment into any stocks and shares etc, for companies within the AIM market, or the London Stock Exchange. There is a phone number on the site for that specific category of people to call if they wish to make an investment or indeed would just like some information on the subject. Would anyone know of any ways in which to get the website noticed?, preferably by those for whom it is intended to be of interest to. This could mean any possible way a website COULD get noticed. Any information on links that could be placed on the site, how to create, with respect to connecting it with other websites possibly of the same genre or area of work, interest or which contains similar information that is available on the site. Any information on any of this would be much appreciated.

For any website the vast majority of visitors will come via a search engine. Most of those will come from a Google search. It's a no-brainer that for any website to be successful it has to appear on the first page of a Google search for all the terms that users may type into the search engine for which the site in question would be relevant.
The process of making sure this happens is called search engine optimization. It's not easy otherwise every site would be on the first page(!) but it's not rocket science either.
