Your bike comes with a 7/8" diameter bars. The proper size would be 7/8" for the left (clutch) side and 1" for the right (throttle) side. The reason the throttle side is slightly bigger is the throttle barrel. Honda dirt bike grips are a great replacement, they come in black, and would look good on your bike. You can get them at any Honda dealer. If you wish to buy another pair, just make sure you buy them for motorcycle with 7/8" bars. While you are at it buy a tube of grip glue (adhesive). This will allow the grips to go on much easier and they will stay on. Some people take it a step further and safety wire they grips in addition to glue. That is probably not be needed on you bike. Enjoy your bike and always were a helmet.

Yes, they are universal.
First check that they are the correct size for your handle bars (diameter). Handle bars come in 2 different diameters. All Jap bikes use the same size.
Also make sure you're not buying ATV grips. ATVs don't have a throttle pipe (they have a thumb throttle). Without the throttle pipe (twist grip) the L&R sides of the handle bars are the same diameter (ATV grips will have the same inside diameter).

Motorcycle grips are NOT universal. You need to find one for the OD of the handlebar. Either check with the 'shop manual', a dealership or measure them yourself.

most off road grips are universal. just be sure to buy the motorcycle grip and not the atv grip. the difference is that the atv grip is not to be used with twisting throttles. they will not fit on your bike. buy the motorcycle kind, they will fit. it just comes down to what color you want, what kind you want, etc......!
