I have a 9th grade Science project due. I have to make a Simple machine INVENTION. I dont have much time AT ALL. Anyone have any ideas?

Just a thought. If you can find some (new or used?) Velcro strips, place (glue or tack, etc.) Velcro on the outer diameters of two (wooden?) wheels spinning in contact on axles (stuck in holes drilled in a single flat board or between two vertical boards?). You should be able to turn the wheels in contact but they would remain "locked" when no force is applied. Place a pointer on one of the axles if it urns with the wheel. The wheels need not be the same size and one wheel could have a hand crank.

in case you individually like development issues you could help her create a clamp linked to a pulley that she will use to boost an merchandise. Thats what I did in 4th grade, and it fairly is great or small.
