Yes, women are more emotional than men, both negative and positive emotions.

I think women are roughly twice as emotional as men, though I can't quite remember the study I read that in.

Studies have shown that men are more logical, and women more emotional. Watch a man, he will rationalize everything first. Logic does not require emotion. If you ask me, I would take someone who feels over someone who has to think through EVERYTHING. There is an old saying "Do it with a feeling". I agree.

well...with no sexism intended here...men try to maintain their macho status, while as women tend to be more sensitive about stuff, therefore exposing more of their emotions
