It sounds like wheel balancing. It is cheap to fix. I had the front ones done on my Nissan Micra for £20. Next time you are walking past a line of parked cars, look at the wheels. You may see little oblong lumps of silver metal attached to the rims, these are the weights to balance the wheels.
Your car may have had them and they fell off when you hit a curb or something. If it has started shaking suddenly when at speed, this will be the problem.
Get it sorted before it causes damage to suspnsion and tyres. Ring around a few tyres and exhaust places for a quote.

Front wheel drive cars put a lot of forces onto the front wheels, in turn the tires can wear more rapidly than the rear. As a result the balance of the wheels can be put out.
Take the car down to your local tire centre and they will re-balance the wheels for about £20.00

Above answers are good... tires and rotors are the usual suspects. Also be sure to check and see if the vehicle has a stock "steering stabilizer" like most jeep suv's do. It will look like a shock absorber mounted horizontal on the front steering arms. If this goes bad you will "feel" a lot more of the road vibrations and bump steer that it would normally dampen if it were working properly.

Without doubt your wheels need balancing at a tyre repair place.
It will cost about £5-8 per wheel.
As a rough guide, the front wheels will shake the steering wheel, and the rear wheels will shake your ***.

Take it to a repair garage and have them balance all 4 tyres, probably cost less than 100.

If it still does it, it could be tie rod ends or wheel bearings, but do the balance thing first.

At 75mph you are breaking the legal speed limit. The vibration is due to the nut at the wheel.

It could be the wheel balancing or the steering alignment (which normally scrubs your tyres on one edge)
Or it could be worn bushes on your suspension!
The wheel balancing is the cheapest place to start!

For starters, that is an illegal speed on UK roads.

As for the problem, anything with steering should be dealt with by a garage or Renault dealer.
